Beginner Class with Merry

Beginner Class with Merry

There will be three opportunities this month to learn the basics of knitting (casting on, knit, purl, cast off). Participants will be making a cute Mug Rug. Merry will help you select yarn and needles for this project. (Please use yarn from our shop.)

May Day! May Day! I Dropped a Stitch!

May Day! May Day! I Dropped a Stitch! with Robin

Learn to drop stitches on purpose as part of the design of your piece. The class project will be the Clapotis by Kate Gilbert (free on Ravelry). Robin will have several finished drop-stitch projects on hand to show different designs. This pattern can be knit with any weight yarn, though Robin prefers fingering. (Please use yarn from our shop.)

Beginner Sweater Class with Lisa

Beginner Sweater Class with Lisa

Make a beginner-friendly cardigan! The pattern is “Classic Cardigan” by Tin Can Knits (purchase on Ravelry for $9). It has a wide range of sizes from newborn to 6XL. Consider knitting a child size first to learn the techniques with less yardage. Yarn can be sport, DK, or worsted (DK or worsted recommended). (Please use yarn from our shop.)

Knitting Repair with Elizabeth

Knitting Repair with Elizabeth

Learn to read your knitting and fix common mistakes. Practice on pre-knitted swatches with built-in errors, create your own errors in-class, and bring your own project in need of rescue. Also, if you have a garment you never wear due to fit issues, bring it in to see what adjustments can be made.

Choose from either or both of these Mondays: May 5 – 3:00 PM–5:00 PM
and/or May 19 – 3:00 PM–5:00 PM

Doodles Knit Along with Susan

“Doodles” Knit Along with Susan

Susan and her friend Vicky will be making this airy summer top. You are welcome to join! The pattern is “Doodles” by Yumiko Alexander (available on Ravelry for $10). You’ll need 1003–1747 yards of DK weight yarn and size 10 needles (or size to meet gauge). (Please use yarn from our shop.)

Start Date: Thursdays 5:00 PM–7:00 PM starting May 15
Cost: Free; come knit along with us!

You are welcome any time to join us to Sit & Knit or Stay & Crochet with your projects. This is also a time to get help on small snags to keep your progress going.

(We kindly ask that you work on projects with yarn purchased from Wooly Bully.)

If the class dates and times do not work for you, we can schedule one-on-one instruction or a session for you and friends at another time. Call or stop by the shop to arrange this.
